Plug the extension cord into the electric switch box located on the engine, Figure 2-6. The engine cannot start unless the key is inserted into ignition switch.ģ. Insert ignition key fully into slot, Figure 2-5. If you do not have the proper house wiring, DO NOT use the electric starter under any conditions.Ģ. If you have a grounded three-prong receptacle, proceed as follows. Ask a licensed electrician if you are unsure. Determine that your home’s wiring is a three-wire grounded system.
